The Coachella Valley has three main public school districts:  Palm Springs Unified (generally serving the communities of Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Thousand Palms and parts of Rancho Mirage); Desert Sands Unified (generally serving the communities of  Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, Bermuda Dunes, and parts of Rancho Mirage); Coachella Valley Unified (generally serving the most eastern communities of Thermal, Mecca, Coachella and beyond to the Salton Sea).  In addition, there are other private school options.  Follow our links for direct information.
